Basic Requirements

Must be able to fly to the Private Pilot standards and recommended to be instrument rated

  • Must be 17 years old
  • Pass FAA medical exam – Minimum 3rd Class
  • Able to speak and understand English

  • Instrument rating (although this is technically not a requirement, lack of an Instrument Rating will seriously impact your ability to fly as a commercial pilot).
