Certified Flight Instructor Course (CFI)
You can complete the Accelerated Certified Flight Instructor Course (CFI) in less than two weeks at Kilo Charlie Aviation. This program provides you with the training, experience, and endorsements you need to become a certified instructor and pass your CFI initial check ride. Once you’ve passed your check ride, you’re ready to share your knowledge with other aspiring pilots.

Certified Flight Instructor Course (CFII)
As an add-on to the Certified Flight Instructor Course, you can also take the Accelerated Certified Flight Instructor–Instrument Training (CFII) to master instrument flying skills and add the Instrument Rating to your Certified Flight Instructor Certificate.
With an additional five days of training, you can significantly improve your ability to find instructor positions and expand the certifications you’re qualified to teach.Â
Requirements to Become a Certified Flight Instructor
Before you can begin your training as a CFI, you must meet some basic requirements:
- Must be 18 years old
- Possess a Private Pilot’s License
- Possess Instrument Rating Certification
- Possess a commercial pilot license
- Have logged 250 hours of flight time
- Log at least 15 hours of being in command of a pilot
