To Begin Training
Basic Requirements
Must be able to fly to the Private Pilot standards and
recommended to be instrument rated
- Must be 17 years old
- Pass FAA medical exam – Minimum 3rd Class
- Able to speak and understand English
- Instrument rating
(although this is technically not a requirement, lack of an Instrument Rating will seriously impact your ability to fly as a commercial pilot).
